Solid Core Poly Shutters – Limited Lifetime Warranty
RS Shutter Manufacturing warrants that its solid core poly shutters with factory finishes (Ice, Arctic, Swiss) are free from defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product, provided they are manufactured using our original components and properly installed under normal interior conditions.
Wood Shutters – Limited 5-Year Warranty
Our wood shutters are covered for 5 years against paint defects, fading, discoloration, and warping, when installed and maintained as intended.
Custom-Painted Poly Shutters & Cornices – Limited 5-Year Warranty
Custom-painted poly shutters and cornices (excluding factory finishes) carry a 5-year warranty for manufacturing-related defects in paint, fading, discoloration, and warping.
Installation Warranty
If RS Shutter Manufacturing performs the measure and installation, we warrant the installation for 1 year from the date of install. After 1 year, a standard service call fee applies.
If the dealer or a third party performs the measure and/or installation, RS Shutter Manufacturing warrants only the product itself. Installation errors, measuring mistakes, or transport-related damage are not covered.
Important Installation Requirement
To maintain warranty coverage, all shutters and cornices must be installed using screws. Installation with nails or alternative fasteners may compromise product performance and will void the warranty.
What’s Covered
- Warping, cracking, or splitting under normal interior conditions
- Finish defects such as peeling, fading, or discoloration caused by manufacturing issues
- Workmanship-related defects in materials or assembly
What’s Not Covered
- Damage due to misuse, abuse, neglect, alteration, or improper installation
- Use of nails or improper fasteners
- Exposure to excessive moisture or heat
- Normal variations in wood grain, texture, or minor warping due to humidity
- Costs for labor, travel, removal, reinstallation, packaging, or shipping
- Incidental or consequential damages
